D1.7 – 4th meeting report: SOHO partners validate the training modules in Bucharest

On 19–20 May 2025 POLITEHNICA Bucharest hosted the 4th Transnational Project Meeting of SOHO, half-way through the project. With WP2 completed, the partners focused on WP3: the leaders of the three modules – Smart Renewable Energy (POLIMI), Smart Sustainable Accommodation (UNSTPB) and Smart Transportation (ULL) – presented their learning frameworks, training stand and methodology, and European and Asian partners validated the content in breakout groups, asking for more case studies, simpler material for non-engineers, field trips and a component on professional ethics. All 20 courses must be on the SOHO platform by 31 August 2025. The consortium confirmed its targets – 36 trainers and 1 000 students – and the next steps: training of trainers, a validation meeting in Lyon in November 2025 and the Final Symposium in Malaysia in 2026.
