University of Danang hosts SOHO talk on smart tourism and hotels, IoT and digital technology

On 7 September 2026 the University of Danang organised the seminar “Smart Tourism and Hotels: the role of IoT and digital technology in sustainable tourism development” under the Erasmus+ SOHO project, opened by Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lê Thành Bắc. Speakers included SOHO coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vladimir Tanasiev (POLITEHNICA Bucharest), Piotr Madej, CEO of Da Nang Marriott Resort & Spa, and Dr. Cao Trí Dũng, Chair of the Da Nang Tourism Association, with lecturers and students from UD member institutions. The event aimed to widen cooperation networks and support a smart, green tourism workforce in central Vietnam.
