Nanyang Siang Pau: UTAR Vice President discusses sustainable tourism and SOHO at Guilin forum

Nanyang Siang Pau reported on 13 April 2024 that UTAR Vice President Prof. Choong Chee Keong addressed the Third Guilin Development Forum in China with a keynote on tourism-city development and business-environment optimisation. He presented the cross-national SOHO project on smart, optimised, quality and on-demand tourism innovation education, involving partners from Romania, Italy, France, Vietnam, Malaysia and Bangladesh with about RM4 million in funding, and emphasised smart-technology integration, curriculum optimisation, learning management systems and governance frameworks for sustainable tourism.
