Southeast Asia Magazine: University of Danang advances green, sustainable development through SOHO

Tạp chí Đông Nam Á reported on 7 September 2026 on the seminar “Smart tourism and hotels: the role of IoT and digital technology in sustainable tourism transformation – perspectives from the SOHO project” held at the University of Danang, with SOHO coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vladimir Tanasiev and UD Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lê Thành Bắc. The article presents the EU-funded project (budget EUR 796,806, November 2023–November 2026, nine partners from six countries), its modules on smart transportation, sustainable lodging and renewable energy, the training weeks in Lyon and Milan in June 2026 and the Knowledge and Competence Centres it establishes.
