Today’s challenge is to extend this tradition of strong regional ties beyond national borders, starting at the European level, to contribute to creating a “single market” of education. Politecnico di Milano participates in numerous research and training projects in collaboration with top European and international universities, ranging from North America to Southeast Asia to Eastern Europe. As of the academic year 2022/2023 (updated in March 2023), Politecnico di Milano boasts a total of 47,959 enrolled students and 1,893 PhD candidates. The university’s dedication to fostering a diverse and international academic community is evident in its offerings for international students, which include 41 Master’s Degree courses, 2 Bachelor’s Degree courses, and 20 PhD courses, all taught entirely in English. This has attracted 8,258 international students in the academic year 2022/2023.
