Knowledge & Competence Centres Identification and Selection

The activity involves researching and identifying key player that have the potential to become partners for the university centres of excellence for smart sustainable tourism. This may include conducting surveys, focus groups, or interviews with local stakeholders, as well as analyzing data on tourism trends and patterns in the region.

Partnership and Collaboration Development

The activity involves establishing partnerships and collaborations with local stakeholders such as government agencies, tourism boards, and private sector organizations to ensure the development and operation of the Knowledge & competence centres is sustainable.It may include conducting meetings and negotiations, and drafting agreements and memorandums of understanding.

Design and Signing of a Joint Declaration

The activity focuse on the design and signature of a joint declaration committing to unite the project partners of each Knowledge & competence centre's efforts to improve and advance in the sector, to promote the importance of HEIs and the value of CBHE, and to attract as many stakeholders to the Knowledge & competence centre as possible to make it strong and meaningful.

Plan Development and Implementation

The activity involves developing and implementing a comprehensive plan for the enhancement of the Knowledge & competence centres. This includes the development of infrastructure, technology, and human resources, as well as the provision of training, mentoring, and capacity building opportunities for local stakeholders.

Innovation and Experimentation

The activity involves fostering innovation and experimentation by providing opportunities for pilot testing of new technologies and practices in the Knowledge & competence centres. It may include conducting research and development of new technologies, selecting and working with pilot partners, and evaluating the impact and feasibility of the pilot test results.

Designing of Business Plan for the Sustainability of the Courses

The activity consists in investigating potential ways for continuing to run the courses (including its financial viability), and the equivalency of the micro-credential courses.
